Childbirth Education at CCCP: Spring 2009 Schedule:

The next free Preparation for Parenthood Class series will be held tentatively in March and May 2009. Dates and times to be announced.
Charlotte will anwser your questions about what to expect during labor and delivery, natural and medicianal ways to reduce stress and pain, postpartum and infant care and much more. Gentle exercises, written materials, videos and group discussion. This is a fun group for women in the last trimester of pregnancy and their support person(s)

Moms & Babies Group at CCCP: Wednesdays from 10-11:30
Drop in, no pre-registration needed.

Moms & Babies Group at Harwich Community Center: Mondays from 10:30-noon. Drop in, no pre-registration needed.

Single Moms Group at CCCP: 5:30-7:00 pm: Monday, January 16, & February 23. Join Kate and Cindy for this non-therapeutic group designed to encourage individuals to share their challenges as well as their successes. Meet new friends, and be supported and empowered by each other. This group meets monthly.
Free childcare and pizza dinner provided. Pre-registration is required.

Dad's Talk : First Monday of each month, 6-7:30 pm. Harwich Community Center, 100 Oad St.; with Matt Daniels, LMHC and Paul Melville, Family Support Specialist. A safe, non-therapeutic group providing an opportunity for dads of kids and teens to talk about the issues of being a father today. Free pizza and child care with registration; 508-771-4338 or paul@capecoalition.com

Grandparents as Caregivers Support Group: Call us for resources.

Parent Chat with Cindy Horgan: January 14, February 11; 8:30-10:00 at Stony Brook Elementary. This group meets once a month. (2nd Wednesday of each month); Parents can drop in to discuss different topics that will help to strengthen their skills and support them in their parenting journey. Sign-in at the front desk and get a Cape Cod Children's Place name tag. There is no child care available for this group.

Parent Education Workshops: Positive Disipline: 6 week series starting Monday February 23, and each Monday in March; 5:30-7:30 pm, at Wellfleet Elementary School. Free Pizza dinner and childcare. Call CCCP to sign up.
